About Layson Gottfried

I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2015 with a BS degree in Fashion and Textile Management and a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing. While at NC State, I spent a semester in Shanghai, China, and studied business management, fashion, and textile design to increase my knowledge and experience of fashion and textile globally. I am currently living in Los Angeles working as a full-time agency represented bicoastal model. I have had an amazing opportunity over the past 6 years to live and work all across Europe and Asia, and now I am currently working between New York and Los Angeles as a model. I lived in Guangzhou, China for four years, and during this time I gained vast knowledge and understanding of the textile and marketing industry. I know that working as a model in the fashion industry has given me a new perspective on the world, and of the fashion and business industry that will help to further my abilities in my desired field. I am always thriving to know more about the expansive business, fashion and textile industries. Working as a model while also having a bachelor\'s degree in textiles, has given me a distinctive competence in the field of marketing and I believe it has given me the advantage to understand both sides of the lens in many ways. I am excited to expand my career and I look forward to opportunities ahead!
