ABOUT LAYNE PRICE

For me, healthcare starts with partnership. I believe patients should be the CEOs of their own health — informed, empowered, and supported by a care team that listens and collaborates. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP), I’m passionate about delivering patient-centered, preventative care that meets people where they are and helps them reach their healthiest potential.Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse families in primary care, where I focus on education, trust-building, and evidence-based decision-making. My six years as a bedside nurse in IMC and PACU laid the foundation for how I practice today: with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to seeing each patient as a whole person.I’m also deeply interested in dermatology and recently attended the Diversity in Dermatology Conference, which strengthened my desire to merge my background in primary care with my passion for skin health and representation in dermatologic care.Outside of clinical practice, I love mentoring the next generation of nurses. I’ve served as a graduate teaching assistant and use my YouTube platform, In My Layne, to share insight, encouragement, and real-world perspective with nursing students and new graduates.At my core, I’m an innovator — always seeking creative ways to elevate patient care, empower nurses, and reimagine what health can look like when patients truly lead the way.
