Mississippi Press Services, the for-profit business subsidiary of MPA, was founded in 1978. The MPA Education Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization that exists to provide scholarships and internships to students of journalism at Mississippi institutions of higher learning and grants for services to in-state communication and journalism programs.
