Lead the redesign of day-to-day operations of the vulnerability management (VM) team of a large agency under HHS. This includes management of (15+) cybersecurity professionals, coaching, time sheet reconciliation, and performance evaluations. Work with up to 32 business units to include: standardization of processes, proactively prevent vulnerability exploits, adhere to SLAs, drive actionable metrics to ensure the reduction of time and resources needed to detect, investigate, analyze and remediate vulnerabilities. This includes: executive presentations, communications, SME services, status reports, risk-based security assessments, research current/emerging threats, facilitate exception handling/waiver processing, provide process optimization recommendations, tools tuning, resetting VM priorities and escalations as needed.
