ABOUT LAYLA MEGHJEE
I am a Master’s student in Bioinformatics at the University of Nottingham, having recently graduated with First Class Honours in Forensic Science from Nottingham Trent University, where I finished in the top 10 of my cohort.My academic path has been shaped by a curiosity for data, detail, and evidence. Whether that\'s through analysing molecular patterns in the lab or exploring racial bias in forensic education materials through my dissertation. I enjoy finding clarity in complexity and turning data into insight. That’s what now draws me toward roles in data analysis, consulting, and analytical research more broadly.Outside university life, I lead teams as a site manager, and have helped brands grow their digital presence through social media analytics, and held multiple committee roles for my university’s competitive dance team. I’m currently open to graduate opportunities starting in 2026, ideally in a role where I can continue developing my analytical skills in a purposeful, fast-moving environment within a forward thinking and innovative company.
