I work with Government, operators, manufacturers and academia to improve cyber security of transport systems. My specialism is aviation, but I work across automotive, rail and maritime. I have an understanding of transport sector technologies, regulations, standards and markets. I endeavour to understand the needs of clients, identify services and approaches to apply these, and work with a range of cyber security specialists to address these needs. I own the strategy for how my company will aviation sector. I also support automotive OEMs with the implementation of cyber security management systems aligned to ISO/SAE 21434 to achieve compliance with UN Vehicle regulation 155. I have led and contributed to research projects looking at topics such as on vehicle passenger Wi-Fi security, train cyber security threats and aviation third party risk management. I am particularly interested in systems security engineering as a sub-discipline and have been fortunate enough from my work across transport modes to understand common issues and best practice.
