About Lawrence Larry Weru

Larry is a multi-talented individual with a strong academic and professional background. He received dual bachelor\'s degrees in 2014, one in Studio Art and one in Biological Science, and has since developed expertise in full-stack web development, coding, data visualization, and journalism. He is a skilled artist, able to draw, paint, and create digital art, as well as code and create original data visualizations. He is also a writer and journalist, with articles that have gone viral on the web and published work in various outlets such as Vox, Slate, and the Orlando Sentinel. In addition to his professional pursuits, Larry is also an entrepreneur, having built an app for sale on the Mac App Store, and also worked for several years a freelance IT consultant helping businesses with their online stores. He received his Master of Science degree from Harvard Medical School, where he received a competitive Dean\'s Scholarship. He is using his skills to promote awareness and advocacy for important health issues, including web accessibility.
