ABOUT HAYDEN LAWRENCE

Hey! I\'m Hayden I believe good tech and well-designed operations give people the space to do their best work.Over the last decade, I\'ve worked across energy, edtech, medtech, consumer goods, legal and non-profit organisations, usually in businesses going through growth, change or increasing complexity. My work tends to sit at the intersection of IT, operations and the wider business, where clear systems and joined-up thinking really matter.More recently, I\'ve started describing my approach as treating operations like a product. Not in a buzzword way, but in a practical one. I build frameworks and services that are designed to be reused, improved and owned properly, rather than reinvented every six months.That can mean anything from project management and service operations to internal reporting, procurement and security foundations. The common thread is reducing friction, giving teams clarity, and building infrastructure that actually gets used.My background spans modern workplace environments, scalable tech stacks and secure, compliant operations aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. I work across IT, security, compliance, ESG and AI enablement and increasingly ESG sits at the heart of it. I\'ve led EcoVadis and B Corp certifications alongside embedding decarbonisation in to business operations. I\'m as comfortable getting hands-on as I am setting direction. I\'ve led IT and operations through growth, restructuring, acquisitions and audits, bringing calm and practical structure to situations that could easily tip into chaos.I\'m particularly drawn to mission-led organisations solving meaningful problems. Alongside my IT and operations work, I\'m also an experienced events producer and cabaret organiser, which probably explains why I care so much about clarity, flow and how systems feel to the people using them.I\'m also a big train nerd.
