Dr. Lawrence M. Drake II is a global executive leader, media psychologist, scholar,univerity president, university trustee and transformational strategist with more than 40 years of experience across corporate, academic, and entrepreneurial sectors. He has held senior roles in two Fortune 500 companies and led two universities as president, consistently driving vision, strategic direction, and high-impact outcomes across diverse teams and industries.Dr. Drake is recognized for his expertise in media-influenced human behavior, with scholarly work focused on the intersection of cognitive science, applied psychology, and media innovation. His research, writing, and presentations address how media shapes human perception, behavior, and leadership in today’s hyperconnected world.Having lived and/or worked in over 60 countries, Dr. Drake brings a truly global perspective to leadership, team building, and cultural engagement. His work spans finance, operations, public policy, philanthropy, and education—where he serves as a catalyst for change and growth in both start-up and high-growth environments.He holds degrees from Fisk University (B.A, Elected Studies), Georgia State University (B.A, Sociology), Rockhurst University (MBA), and both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Fielding Graduate University.Dr. Drake believes leadership is a privilege rooted in purpose, discipline, and lifelong learning—and he is passionate about developing others to reach their highest potential.
