About Lawrence Tan
I began my professional journey at Burns McDonnell and worked in an integrated design environment with all kinds of industry professionals. Within our department we worked in a variety of markets offering a large suite of architectural services and delivery methods. My experience ranged from design, renderings and animations, to construction documentation and project coordination. I worked on over 30 projects in, Commercial Office, Healthcare, Civic,Multi-family High-rise, Mission Critical, Laboratory & Industrial, and more.After 5 years at Burns McDonnell I am now at StudioNorth Architecture. It\'s a much smaller team with a lot more character and charisma. At StudioNorth we are developing the facilities for NorthPoint Development that will support a future driven by the e-commerce boom. We deal with quick turn-arounds, a design-build delivery method, all 50 states, and for me, greater responsibility. All of which I enjoy and will help me progress as a more experienced architect.
