   As the CDO for AOTF it is my privileged to lead the philanthropic mission of the Foundation; to advance the science of occupational therapy to support people\'s full participation in meaningful life activities. For almost 60 years AOTF has provided critical funding to innovative new research, supported the future OT workforce, disseminated evidence to the profession and celebrated research excellence. The demand for more evidence in occupational therapy has never been higher and AOTF is meeting that need by investing in a diverse range of research studies that addresses priority needs of the profession.As the CDO, I play a leading role raising philanthropic gifts from individuals, corporations, schools, associations and other organizations who share our in our vision. This work encompasses our annual fund, major gifts, bequest gifts, sponsorships and special campaigns, as well as building partnerships, hosting events and working with volunteers to make AOTF\'s mission a success.
