Procurement responsibilities include providing expertise and leadership at the Brampton site through negotiating RFP\'s, RFQ\'s, contracts, service and supply agreements with strategic vendors/service providers. Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement strategies and cost reduction initiatives. Help to further develop and fully integrate new vendors/service providers. Implement and ensure that proven processes are in place to facilitate the consistent and timely delivery of orders to fulfill requirements. Promote and champion a proactive Procurement environment by introducing lean six sigma methods and best in class Procurement practices, principles and policies that provide value to the organization. Source and procure specific items, external resources to support the Continuous Improvement Team at all four Atlantic Packaging Corrugated sites. Provide purchasing support and expertise for major Corporate Construction Projects and Engineering team initiatives for all Corrugated box plants. Site procurement specifics - Capital Projects, OEM and Reverse Engineered Parts, Industrial Machinery and Heavy Equipment, Maintenance and Safety Supplies, Personal Protective Equipment, Electrical Parts and Services, Building Materials, Material Handling Equipment, Facilities and Contractor Services, Corrugated Starch, Additives and Adhesives, Printing Inks and Dyes, Water Treatment Chemicals, Operation Consumables. Managing annual MRO site spend of approximately $ 10 mln to $ 12 mln.
