Lawrence is the National Leader for Deloitte\'s Smart Operations practice focused on helping energy and resource clients deliver large-scale business, digital, and operational transformations. Most recently, he has built and led two practices from the ground-up (i.e, Deloitte - Smart Operations and PwC - Robotic Process Automation) where his responsibilities include: owning & growing the P&L, establishing the storefront, developing pursuits & closing sales, delivering engagements, recruiting top-talent, fostering talent, identifying strategic growth areas, establishing alliances & partnerships, and executing on acquisitions. He has significant experience in the consulting space (both advisory and delivery), having worked across Canadian sectors from Financial Services (Banking, Insurance) to Energy & Resources (Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining). He has had exposure to a wide-ranging set of engagements from program management (PMO), enterprise content management (ECM), digitization & automation, workforce collaboration, digital transformations, automation implementations (e.g, RPA), innovation studies (e.g, AI-ML, Digital Twins, Chatbots), to smart operations (e.g, operational technology modernization, industry 4.0, OT strategy, & ESG). With a unique blend of strategy, business, and hands-on technical experience, Lawrence has the ability to formulate opinions, craft compelling presentations, and communicate strategic perspectives throughout all levels of the organization. He has spent considerable time honing his leadership acumen, with a keen eye on interpreting the client & market landscape - and building high-performing teams to deliver against it.
