Public Assistance Group Supervisor for COVID NY State (DR4480)- Supervised a staff of 35, and responsible for a portfolio of $2.5 billion and 1800 COVID applicants- While adhering to FEMA policy and regulations, was successful in processing 500 projects- Many valued at over $1 million through the FEMA approval process- All actions taken were validated through audits- As an authorized Coach/Evaluator guided staff towards PTB (Position Task Book) Completion- Meaning all staff were properly credentialed in their assigned position- As PA Group Supervisor for DR4567, Tropical Story Isais- Supervised a staff of 30 and a project portfolio valued at $500 million- Guided hundreds of PA projects through the approval process- PA Group Supervisor for Presidential major declarations DR4472 and DR4397- Supervised over thirty Public Assistance staff, and a project portfolio of nearly $200 million- Processed hundreds of projects through all levels of FEMA approval- One of the first PA operations to implement PA Policy on Codes and Standards- Efforts helped lead to PA funding for the Gray-Wilmurt Bridge in Herkimer County, NY- PA Team Lead for several Preliminary Damage Assessments- While adhering to FEMA policy, efforts led to Presidential major declarations for New York- Assisted VI Waste Management Agency with their Debris Plan- Efforts led to the revised plan being adopted by the Authorities for this Agency- PA Task Force Lead in Hurricanes Irma and Maria- assisted both the Response and Recovery Divisions- Helped provide disaster survivors with obtaining life-sustaining commodities- Developed and helped write Mission Assignment Project Manager SOP which is now FEMA Doctrine- Lead Mission Assignment Manager for Superstorm Standy, overseeing a staff of twelve personnel- Successfully processed over two dozen mission assignments valued at over $600 million- Instructed the first National IMAT on MA(s).
