The KSU Foundation provided me the opportunity to create an asset management position that expands the traditional bounds of physical asset and value stewardship, to serve a philanthropic and educational mission to Kent State University and Town-Gown relationship with Kent and surrounding communities. Additional responsibilities have included: hotel management agreement RFP design and administration, management company and ownership transitions, chairing executive level searches, application and administration of ERC and Ohio Hotel Grant funds, hospitality program instructor, and support of the Hospitality Program and LGBTQ+ Center through board service and volunteerism. Committee Service: Hospitality Advisory Board (member 8 years, VP 2 yrs & President 1 yr), LSAC Board (member), Dining Services Quality Committee (Co-chair), Town-Gown Development Committee, On The Move Committee, Quest Mentor.
