About Lavrene Norton

LaVrene is the founder of Action Pact, a leader in culture change and organizational transformation of elder services. A pioneer and champion of the Household Model, LaVrene has been guiding organizations on their culture change journeys since 1984. She is an organizational change facilitator in long-term care and has taken her expertise to Ireland and Australia as well. She has conducted organizational assessments and provided organizational design consulting for many of the premier Retirement Communities and Nursing Homes around the country to assist them in transforming their culture. She has also designed curriculum for the broad series of Action Pact workshops and intensives and has led the Action Pact team in the development of a deep catalog of culture change and Household Model literature, workbooks and DVDs. She published a notable publication, Culture Change Now during the formative years of culture change and co-authored, with Steve Shields, the book: In Pursuit of the Sunbeam.
