The project will implement three portals: one each for Customers, Suppliers and Associates. The projected named users are around with an estimated concurrent users when fully live with all operating companies. As the SAP Portal Architect for the project working on the Basis team, I architected and implemented a Federated Portal Network (FPN). The architecture consists of a dedicated consumer portal (NW7.01) and multiple producer portals (NW70, NW7.01, CE 7.1.1, CE 7.2, CE 7.3) and supports the implementation of three separate portals for customers, suppliers and employees on a single portal platform. The FPN landscape consists of a Consumer portal and ten Producer portals for sandbox, development, QA, training, performance and production. The landscape also includes an \"N+1\" environment for development and QA to allow for production support as well as ongoing project work. The portal integrates with OpenText as the Web Content Management system. All requests are federated through the consumer to the producer portals utilizing the federated portal network with a combination of Remote Role Assignment, Remote Delta links and Remote Application Integration.Highlights:• Architected one of the largest SAP Federated Portals in existence• Maintained and managed patching of over 120 java installations• I was involved with architecting the Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP) system for an iPhone/Android based application allowing Sysco customers to maintain their inventories.• Installed and configured NWDI using CTS+ allowing for production support and project work using 28 tracks.• Developed and documented a strategy for delegated portal administration using custom portal roles
