As a Therapy Aide in a fast-paced sports physical therapy clinic, I work closely with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to support the rehabilitation and recovery of athletes and active individuals. This hands-on, patient-centered role involves assisting with daily clinic operations, maintaining a clean and organized treatment space, and helping to ensure an efficient, positive experience for patients.Key Responsibilities: • Assist therapists with the setup and cleanup of treatment areas and equipment • Support patients through exercise programs under the supervision of licensed staff • Prepare hot/cold packs, electrotherapy units, and other modalities as directed • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and restocking of all clinical areas • Escort patients to and from treatment areas, providing encouragement and instruction • Observe patient progress and report relevant feedback to supervising therapists • Manage clinic flow and help with scheduling, filing, and clerical support as needed • Ensure equipment is in proper working order and assist in basic maintenance.
