About Laurie Solens
I serve as a Director on the Guidewire Enablement Team. The Enablement team is dedicated to helping people thrive in their roles at Guidewire. We do this by delivering training, tools, content, and learning events tailored to audiences that sell, support, and operate our solutions to ensure our customers’ success. I lead a team of passionate enablement professionals who strive to be enthusiastic teachers, creative problem solvers, and eager learners, all in service of supporting our pre-sales teams.I joined Guidewire in 2015. Prior to coming to Guidewire, the majority of my career was in the insurance industry, serving for 20 years as the Director of Marketing Operations for the Mercury Insurance Group, one of Guidewire’s early full-suite customers. I was involved in the implementation and roll-out of Guidewire as a customer, and joining the company has allowed me to apply my passions around my deep insurance expertise and my love of technology with an understanding of how transformative modernization of legacy systems can position insurers for now and the future.
