ABOUT LAURIE SHANDERSON
With over 25 years of experience in health and higher education administration, I am the founder and CEO of Accreditation Insights, a consulting firm that provides accreditation and regulatory support to diverse educational institutions. My mission is to help colleges and universities achieve and maintain quality standards, enhance student outcomes, and foster continuous improvement.As a former chancellor and founding dean of a school of health sciences, I have a proven track record of leading academic programs, developing curricula, facilitating research, and building strategic partnerships. I am also a skilled public speaker, instructional designer, and program evaluator. Committed to professional and academic service, I have served as a member of the Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) Task Force for US News and World Report Rankings and the Task Force for interrater reliability in Accreditation Site Review, in addition to creating content for a site visitor training module. I currently serve as a CAHME site visitor and the host of the EDUP Accreditation podcast series.I am passionate about advancing excellence and innovation in higher education.
