As a District Coordinator for Mentoring For Success (a school-based mentoring program at 43 schools) and Healthy Choices AmeriCorps, I work to support various positive interventions through the mentoring program and by supporting 20 full time Members who are providing service to SFUSD schools.Throughout my time with SFUSD, I have worked as a School Social Worker at various elementary schools providing individual & group counseling; Case Management; Classroom lessons; Conflict Mediation; Parent/Guardian Workshops just to name a few. I also have had the opportunity to work in other roles including Foster Youth Services recruitment campaign, SSW/LSP Mentor; and Professional Development trainer.
