The University Federal Credit Union Lending Division provides mortgage, auto, consumer and commercial and investment lending products and advice for our members in Austin and throughout Texas. After 15 years with UFCU, I am honored to lead a group of 200 plus dedicated professionals. As a not-for-profit credit union, our first concern is for our community\'s and our members\' well-being and financial future. In the most recent ABJ Book of Lists, UFCU was rated as the 2017 largest Mortgage Company in Austin based on loan volume. In 2018, our Mortgage Services helped over members either purchase a new home or refinance, enabling them to build wealth and financial stability. In 2019 we were named Austin\'s Best Mortgage Company in a poll by the Austin American Statesman. Our direct auto lending team counsels members daily on keeping both their car payments and the term of their loan in line to avoid negative equity in this quickly-depreciating asset. Most important, our members tell us every day through survey comments, that we changed their lives and finances in a positive way.
