I am experienced in the management of drilling and abandonment projects from inception through operations delivering ethical, safe and cost-effective results both in the UK North Sea and international remote operations. I have a proven track record of managing and delivering offshore exploration, appraisal and development projects in a variety of locations around the world from Jack-up, Platform and Semi-Submersible drilling rigs including deep water Semi-Submersible operations. I have experience of HPHT, deep water, fractured carbonate drilling, installing ESP and gas lift completions, and decommissioning / well abandonments. I am fully conversant in well design, project planning and cost estimation, risk assessment and mitigation, tendering and bid evaluation, management of rig operations including rig intake and acceptance and regulatory permitting.
