Head of 2 departments responsible for NextUp\'s 120+ Partners and nearly members. Responsible for Partnerships, Business Development, Sponsorships and partnership DEI advisement. As a Certified Diversity Executive, I advise our Partners on DEI strategy, ERG\'s, professional development and generally how to achieve their corporate social responsibility goals as well as HR/DEI/Learning & Development/Professional Development/Women\'s Equity and Equality/Male Allyship/Corporate Philanthropy/ etc. In addition, I work regularly with Corporate Philanthropy departments as well as independent philanthropic organizations As the VP of Strategic Partnerships and Memberships at NextUp, my team has increased engagement of partners (revenue) by 20%-25% year over year for the 3 years I have been here, two of those years during Covid. We have also increased memberships by 41% in the three years going from members to 17,00 members. I have grown both departments in both revenue as well as team members/role function as well as made strategic changes to both our Partner model and Sponsor model and process that allowed for the growth. I have worked in conjunction with our Learning and Development Team in creating programming- adding to solutions for our corporate partners. I have created joint business plans with partners, influencing and advising them on DEI initiatives, corporate social responsibility, professional development plans, equity and inclusion, ERG’s, corporate citizenship, employee lifecycle, social impact, equity and inclusion, etc. I also work in conjunction with Corporate and Individual Foundations and Philanthropic organizations and arms of companies on their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
