ABOUT LAURIE CARAFONE
My mission is to build, scale, and sustain high-impact programs that protect vulnerable populations and drive systemic change. As a strategic and mission-focused executive, I lead national legal programs, expand multi-million-dollar funding streams, and build teams that deliver life-changing services at scale. My experience allows me to shape sustainable programming, secure transformative funding, and improve access to justice.With an early career as a practicing attorney, I entered the KIND organization in 2012 and grew to lead as VP of U.S. Legal. I have overseen legal services operations across 16 field offices with a team of 270. I have expanded programs, strengthened collaborations, and utilized data to advocate for funding to improve vital services to children and youth.
