Lauren Hurlock is a technology explainer and CitySpark’s Head of Client Success. In her role leading the customer success team she empowers clients to better utilize their tools, optimize implementations, and achieve exceptional results.As the Senior Event Manager and Marketing Lead for Cloud for Utilities, Lauren orchestrated an industry consortium and conference focused on emerging technologies and cloud computing, illustrating how utilities could achieve better outcomes for their customers and business.As the Web Editor for the Charleston City Paper, an alt-weekly serving the Lowcountry, Lauren was responsible for all digital aspects of the paper including Best of Charleston, the paper’s biggest annual revenue driver. Her tenure saw a significant increase in profitability, a S.C. Press Association award for social media excellence, the publication of several top-performing articles. She spearheaded the first major web redesign in over a decade, modernizing the paper\'s technology stack.She graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor’s in English with a concentration in creative writing. Lauren is passionate about culture, art, and the outdoors. She lives in Charleston, SC, with her husband and their rescue pets.
