I’ve always been comfortable taking responsibility, whether that means speaking in front of a crowd or ensuring the details behind the scenes are exactly right.As a sophomore accounting student, I am building a strong foundation in financial accounting, reporting standards, and the analytical thinking required for audit.In my role as Finance Director for a 300-member organization, I manage dues, budgeting, and financial records. I also work to accommodate members from diverse financial backgrounds by setting up payment plans and researching scholarships to make participation accessible for everyone. This experience has strengthened my ability to combine financial management with inclusive leadership.In Student Government Cabinet, I organize events that make money management less scary and more practical…with a side of fun.I enjoy roles where accuracy and organization matter. My work in client-facing and high-volume environments has taught me to communicate early and contribute to a team. I am interested in audit because it combines analysis, judgement, and responsibility for accurate financial reporting. I am seeking opportunities to gain hands-on experience in public accounting and continue to build my technical and data skills.Whether it’s audit, accounting, or making financial literacy a little more fun, I’m always open to connecting and learning from others in the field.
