   As a Certification Decision Officer, I\'m tasked with final review of farm, livestock and handling system plans and inspection reports-The CDO team and I make analytical certification decisions and compliance determinations based on USDA NOP regulations and policies, industry best practices, and NICS policies and procedures-As a CDO I determine compliance of operations with applicable regulations/standards. Review and approve agricultural inputs and product labels, ingredients, and recipes through supplied documentation-Tasked with creation and issuance of reports, corrective actions and other documents in accordance with certification decision-Communicate review results through professional written and oral communication within established deadlines. Organize and maintain client documentation to justify compliance and ensure proper invoicing-As a CDO I must maintain current knowledge of organic industry standards to educate clients and provide training on the certification process. Communicate complex technical information in a positive and effective manner to company and client base.
