ABOUT LAURENT POLIQUIN
I currently teach in an elementary school while pursuing research in education and literature, with a focus on bilingualism, minority cultures, francophone literature and inclusive teaching. My experience advising job seekers and the organizations that support them also shapes how I view life paths and the stories that emerge from them.As a writer, I have published around twenty works of fiction — poetry, short stories, and plays — along with a few literary essays. I am drawn to exploring how words, sometimes fragile and understated, can bear witness to human experience and create spaces for connection.I also direct the Canadian Institute for Open Knowledge and Apertum: Journal of Boundary-Crossing Research.
