ABOUT LAURENT FOURRIER

Since my youngest age, I\'ve always been passionate about solving problems and learning new skills; so it was only logical that I would become interested in programming in my early high school years.I graduated from a French scientific Baccalauréat in 2013, followed by three years studying various IT fields (C/C++ Programming, System Administration, Networking.) at the European Institute of Information Technology (EPITECH) in Nice.During those years, I was able to experience many new and exciting situations, in 6-month internships at EasyOne SAM and Empara, but also as an Educational Assistant in my own school.After earning my EPITECH Bachelor, I entered the software engineering industry as an independent, and started building my expertise by working on diverse projects for multiple customers.One of these customers were Empara, for whom I contributed on-site to the development of their front-end, back-end and administration panel. Another one of these clients included Facilitatrip where I worked, remotely, as a software engineer on the application\'s backend.In 2017, I stopped working as an independant and took on a backend engineer role at Air France in Valbonne as a contractor, further honing my skills and contributing to multiple projects related to customer business data.Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer at Symphony Communications in Biot, France, contributing remotely to the core backend applications, or more recently to the efforts of the company to offer a federated solution over multiple channels.These professional experiences strenghtened my expertise within the software engineering industry, as well as my resolve and excitement to keep discovering new technologies, tackling new challenges and creating new products for the world to use.
