ABOUT LAUREN SLEMENDA MOORE

I love getting creative and working hard to produce measurable results. Here are 5 of my proudest accomplishments as a professional.1. I conducted research and analysis into best practices in adult education and used that information to completely overhaul the Continuing Education department at Western Nevada College, producing a 1,380% increase in departmental enrollment and 490% increase in departmental revenue in just 3 years.2. In just 4 months, I drove a 67% increase in classes for adaptive athletes at Upstate Nevada, accompanied by a 25% increase in adaptive memberships.3. I built a best-in-class Commercial Driver Training program, which resulted in an unheard-of 95% student success rate, expansion to three training sites, and the awarding of over $1 million in state and federal grant funding as well as a scholarship endowment.4. I developed and implemented the largest civic engagement living-learning community in the country at the University of Nevada, Reno, serving 750 students per year.5. I added 53 career training programs to Nevada\'s Eligible Training Provider List, ensuring federally funded access to training in high-demand areas for over 120 students annually.Just as important as my skills is who I am as a person and a professional.
