About Lauren Scher

With over eight years of experience in environmental and public administration, I am passionate about recycling programs that benefit the community and the environment. As the Oregon and Washington Program Manager at PaintCare, I oversee the paint stewardship program in these two states, and collaborate with various partners to ensure its success and sustainability.In my current role, I lead a team of program coordinators and manage the contracts and budgets of the programs. I use my social networking, CRM, and communication skills to maintain and enhance the relationships with the program participants and supporters, and to promote the program to the public.I hold a master\'s degree in Public Administration (Baruch College \'11) and a bachelor\'s in Cinema and Cultural Studies (Stony Brook University \'04) with a strong background in communication, customer relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
