About Lauren Milgram
I am a fourth year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at the University of Miami. Broadly, my research focuses on the maintenance and treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related affective disorders. This includes etiological studies of transdiagnostic risk factors, efficacy and effectiveness trials of cognitive-behavioral and exposure-based interventions, and clinical research assessing key mechanisms of symptom change to inform treatment tailoring. I am particularly interested in the application of novel quantitative methods to address these research questions. I am also highly engaged in clinical work related to affective disorders in child, adolescent, and young adult populations. I have delivered cognitive-behavioral therapy and related evidence-based treatments in outpatient university clinics, partial hospitalization programs, pediatric primary care, and home-based treatment settings.
