My photography is a passion born from my camera skills, modeling and graphic design. My goal is to capture the spirit and personality of each subject. I am a professional photographer, graphic designer, and former model. I have always had an affinity towards colors, design and composition. They represent so much fun and capturing these artful elements with my camera brings me great joy. And yes. purple is my favorite color (hence Purplelauren). ABOUT LAUREN HOLLINGSHEAD
Photography fills my heart. I love looking through my lens to capture my client\'s story that will last a lifetime. Each portrait is a story; the past, present, and future. Based in Mansfield, MA, I spent many years on the other side of the lens as a model. Working with photographers in Shanghai, China, Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, I learned how to tell a story. In fact, I was hooked on having my photographs tell stories so much I ended up majoring in Visual Communications/Graphic Design and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts. Simply put, I love styling people (choosing outfits), showing them how to best pose their body, and telling stories in every photograph. I love seeing my clients react to their portraits, this is what I love. After my days of modeling, I worked for a framed art company designing custom artwork for offices, companies, and hospitals. Here, I was introduced to customizing art and photographs with mattes, frames, and glass. Now, I bring my experience as a model and framed art consultant to my photography career.
