I\'ve had so many great professional experiences in my life, it would be hard to sum them up in a short section like this. But being a writing geek, I will try! Best Job So Far. In my current position as a market development manager at RSM, I\'ve had the advantage of working with the people and projects first as a consultant, before officially joining the firm. I knew I would join them one day, as the people are the nicest and they run the business with kindness and inclusivity at the forefront! I\'m fortunate to have a position now that combines all of the best parts of my prior experience: community/social responsibility, event management, marketing/communications, business development and writing! Plus, the job is in California - how can you beat that? Most Fulfilling Role. For six years I was the owner of two small businesses and I loved not only the flexibility when I needed it most, but seeing the direct impact of my work in helping clients reach their goals. Longest Corporate Role. At Foley & Lardner LLP, I managed several areas of the law firm\'s marketing department for 14 years (see profile for more info). After developing the infrastructure for these functions, I led the teams in creating marketing content and services for the firm’s 900 attorneys. Job with the Most Awesome Team. At Rockwell International, I helped enhance community investments and diversity initiatives. The team we had was diverse, and is the best I\'ve ever seen. we\'re all still great friends! Job that was the Most Fun. Eight years of amazing adventures while I managed communications and community relations for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. I never learned to ride, but saw plenty of beautiful sights across America from the back of a bike! Most Glamorous Job that Paid the Least. I started my career in television, in front of and behind the camera. Exciting times but couldn\'t pay the bills so moved into corporate communications. On a more personal note, I am writing a screenplay based on a true story from 1970s Milwaukee. I\'m greatly enjoying the writing process and looking forward to the next steps. In addition to being a marketer, writer and business owner, I\'m happy to say I\'m a wife and a mother (to a fabulous teenager).
