ABOUT LAUREN HARBINSON
I am currently the VP of Customer Success at IriusRisk, a leading cybersecurity SaaS company. My previous diverse career in STEM makes me a curious scientist at heart, with a data driven leadership approach that puts collaboration for key business outcomes at the centre of everything. I love scaling startups by putting in structure that balances speed with strong methods and operations. More than anything, I love to get stuff done.As VP of CS, I am the executive who oversees the whole post-sales organisation - Professional Services, Customer Success Management, Solution Architects, Customer Deployment and Support. These teams empower our customers to \"shift security left\", reduce cost, and improve scalability, efficiency of SDLC and compliance. Previously, I served in a similar role for Cumulus Neuroscience and Synthace. At Cumulus, I brought in the idea of Customer Success and helped transform how we managed customers post-sale. At Synthace, I built Customer Success from scratch over 7 years into a strong and formidable team with global presence and customers. Prior to finding my career in startups, I was a computational scientist with 10 years of computational mathematics research in academic and industrial applications, including computational cardiology, aerospace engineering and computational fluid dynamics.
