About Lauren Donovan
With over 14 years of experience in technology implementations, change management, and strategic development, I am passionate about delivering innovative and impactful solutions.Newly in my career at Siemens Medical, I started in the Creative Services Department. I worked closely with our Print Production Manager. When I expressed an interest in planning meetings with the Service Lines and vendor relations, I was cross-trained on the process and began to shadow on meetings. Over time, I took on more project management duties until I was providing coverage for our PPM. Soon after I was offered a role as a Project Manager with Strategic Development. I am truly motivated by this work— stagnation is a “no” for me, I enjoy learning new things and I believe this gives me a broader perspective on my career. The fact that my day-to-day is never the same twice, is part of the fun. At my core, I’m a problem solver. I decide the appropriate course of action to take after analyzing the benefits, risks, and dependencies. Sometimes, this involves developing a multi-phased strategic approach or it could be as simple as reallocating resources to balance workloads. I remember a time when I had the opportunity to work with Settlement Music School, a Philadelphia community music school founded by two women. I designed the program for their annual charity gala and was able to attend the event as part of our corporate sponsorship. My brother who had just completed a teaching degree was introduced and began teaching for the organization. Relationship Building and networking matters.I am a proven Leader, Communicator, and Team Player with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
