ABOUT LAUREN FERRARI

I am a senior executive and strategic compliance leader with extensive operational experience in regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management across diverse global industries, including the pharmaceutical, consumer products, energy, real estate, manufacturing and telecommunications sectors. As the first formal compliance officer for Lucent Technologies (Nokia), I designed and successfully implemented the company\'s inaugural global business integrity program, propelling the company into a leadership position in organizational ethics and compliance. Throughout my career, I have strategically developed and executed diverse industry global ethics and compliance programs aligned with business needs, led highly confidential internal investigations leading to positive change and managed cross-functional teams to implement business-focused solutions to ensure compliance. I am both a strong team leader and a collaborative team player, with excellent management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects while achieving alignment across diverse stakeholders. I am highly organized and operational, with exceptional oral and written communication skills and proven success in gathering, analyzing and presenting information and data to various constituencies for various business purposes. As a trusted business partner, I was recognized and honored as an “Attorney Who Matters and a Distinguished Ethics and Compliance Officer”. I co-authored a chapter in a leading compliance handbook and am a frequently invited expert speaker at several leading conferences. On a personal note, with my extensive background and experience in environmental compliance, I am deeply interested in evolving sustainability and environment/social/governance (ESG) issues.
