ABOUT LAURENCE ONEILL
Employment lawyer, currently responsible for managing HR and IR legal risk within Post Office, line managing Senior Legal Counsel and reporting into the Group Legal Director. I have significant experience advising at board level. I have a range of employment law experience, including HR support, drafting employment documentation, responding to Government consultations on new legislation, and extensive employment tribunal and EAT litigation acting for both Claimants and Respondents. Significant cases include: Mr M Baker and Others v Post office Ltd: 14•••49/2018 and Others (which was in The Lawyer\'s top 20 pieces of all litigation for 20/21) and; Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council v Willetts [2017] IRLR 870 EAT (the first case in England to rule that voluntary payments should be included in holiday pay). I have written for leading HR and other trade publications and I am a contributing author to XpertHr.
