Operations Director with responsibility for Finance and Operations for the Warren House Group at Dartington and its trading subsidiary Dartington Service Design Lab. As a member of the Executive I am responsible for a broad portfolio including:• Providing financial strategy, leadership and insight for the group, ensuring the organisation’s performance is reflected accurately in management accounts, supporting and influencing effective decision making.• Developing and delivering an operational model that supports and delivers the organisations strategy and impact. • Lead the evolution of a sustainable operating model built on consultancy and partnerships accounting for available resources, market conditions and internal constraints. • Routine financial performance of the Charity and Company including monthly reporting and forecasting (I&E, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) • Act as company secretary for both companies, supporting the Board of Trustees in the administration of good governance including the preparation of papers and liaison with Charity Commission and Companies House and maintenance of a strategic risk register.• Develop, implement and maintain a human resources strategy (to include EDI) and associated policies and procedures and staff handbook.• Ensure that Dartington’s Safeguarding policy and procedures are compliant with current legislation and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead• Project contracting, Procurement and sub-contracting• Establishing information technology strategy and provision, cyber security and associated accreditations. • Organisational compliance and governance and policy framework including data protection• Supporting a team working remotely across the country
