ABOUT LAURENCE TREMPE

Laurence C. Trempe is a key player in Exeo\'s Canadian mobility department and serves as an associate. Her interest in mobility and border issues was sparked during an internship in Belgium, where she delved into the intricacies of the European Union\'s formation. After earning her law degree from the Université de Montréal in 2004, Laurence furthered her studies at UDM and the University of Ottawa, and has been a Bar member since 2009. She spent a substantial seven years with the Canada Border Services Agency from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, she transitioned to private practice. Over the years, Laurence has amassed a wealth of experience in immigration, helping a diverse range of clients, from startups to large corporations, as well as individuals seeking international opportunities. Actively involved with the Quebec Association of Immigration Lawyers (AQAADI), Laurence has been part of their executive and administrative councils since 2019. She\'s been instrumental in liaising with government entities like the IRCC and MIFI. In 2023, she stepped up to co-chair AQAADI\'s economic and mobility sector. Laurence often shares her insights on immigration and mobility in the media. She\'s also facilitated workshops for HR teams and spoken at various chambers of commerce and public organizations. At her core, Laurence is dedicated to her clients and the legal community, striving to make a difference through her work. And when the day winds down, you can often spot her with her trusty labradoodle, Léo Ferré, enjoying their walks and cheese.
