As Executive Director of the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware, I lead a statewide nonprofit serving over 622 individuals with Down syndrome and their families across DE, PA, NJ, and MD—a growth of nearly 75 families in the past year. I oversee a team of 4 full-time and 3 part-time employees, 10+ contractors, and manage an annual budget, ensuring sustainable growth and impactful programming.Under my leadership, DSA of DE expanded operations by opening a second office in Sussex County, launched new programs including iCanSwim Camp, and transformed the Annual Dinner into a gala generating over while our annual Walk raises over I also strengthened fundraising and donor engagement, securing $497,500 in new grant in corporate support, and over in in-kind contributions.I maintain strong relationships with national Down syndrome organizations, recruit and develop engaged board members, and lead strategic initiatives including a full website redesign and organization-wide financial system upgrade. My focus is on creating inclusive programs, expanding reach, and ensuring that every individual with Down syndrome in our community has access to meaningful opportunities and support.
