Development in Gardening (DIG) is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicatedto improving the nutrition and livelihoods of some of the world’s most uniquely marginalized people by teaching them to plant regenerative gardens that grow health, wealth, and a sense of belonging. We are a growing organization with programs currently in Kenya, Uganda, and Senegal. Helping build community, increase food security, financial resilience, and social cohesion for communities that are often overlooked by other development organizations.I am cultivating meaningful relationships to drive impact. Focused on engaging individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners to sustain and grow our mission-Donor & Funder Engagement – Building and managing relationships through personalized communication, fundraising campaigns, and stewardship initiatives-Grant Management – Identifying, securing, and overseeing grants in collaboration with program teams-Strategic Fundraising – Developing and executing fundraising strategies, analyzing donor trends, and aligning campaigns with organizational goals-Community & Event Coordination – Organizing donor-focused events and discussions to deepen engagement-Operational & Corporate Partnerships – Improving fundraising systems and explore new funding avenues, including corporate sponsorships.
