ABOUT LAUREN REESE

Hi! I’m Lauren and I have 10+ years of experience helping social impact organizations turn big ideas into coordinated action. My work sits at the intersection of partnerships, strategy, and organizational performance. I enjoy helping leaders and organizations come together around shared goals while building the clarity, alignment, and structures needed to move complex initiatives forward and create lasting impact.Strategy Development & Implementation I help organizations clarify where they’re going and how they’ll get there. Through research, collaborative planning, and data-informed decision-making, I support leaders in developing strategies, initaitives, and roadmaps that are both ambitious and actionable.I bring a mix of strategic thinking and operational experience to the work. I enjoy asking the questions that help teams get unstuck, thinking through risks early, and building strong relationships across teams so strategies are understood, supported, and carried forward—not just written down.Organizational Performance & Transformation I design systems and processes that help organizations follow through on their goals. This includes building operating models, governance structures, and performance practices that strengthen accountability, coordination across teams, and decision-making.I also help teams navigate change. I use data to inform decisions, while paying close attention to the human side of change—creating clear communications, facilitating thoughtful conversations, and helping teams learn and adapt as they try new ways of working.Partnerships, Coalitions & Movement Support Some of the work I find most meaningful is helping organizations collaborate in ways that create more impact than any one group could on its own. I’ve partnered with nonprofit leaders and civil society organizations in the U.S. and internationally to build partnerships, convene coalitions, and drive collective action.I’ve also led grantmaking programs that resource community organizations and social movements, and worked alongside grassroots groups to strengthen strategic planning and monitoring and evaluation systems. How I lead To me, strong leadership balances inclusive, informed decision-making with the ability to move quickly to meet the moment. Along the way, I try to bring humor, humility, and humanity to all that I do —because I believe these qualities are essential when doing the hard, sometimes heavy work of coming together to build a better world.
