About Lauren Devito
With experience working in both minor & major league sports, I offer a unique perspective. I began my career journey as just a freshman in college, interning at 98.5 The Sports Hub on the most-listened-to sports talk radio show in the country, The Felger & Mazz Show. While I enjoyed my time working in broadcasting thoroughly, I felt my skills were more suited to the graphic design & social media fields. At the beginning of my sophomore year, I secured an internship running 5+ social media accounts for Miami Athletics. Just a month later, I found another internship in the USHL, suiting my passion for hockey. With the Omaha Lancers, I act as the sole Graphic Designer for their digital marquees & signage. This summer, I am one of two Media Relations interns with the Pittsburgh Penguins covering everything from media guides & press releases to media availabilities & community events. As I continue to chase my passions & uplift fellow women working in sports, I look to work professionally in the sports marketing & communications fields.
