I am a dedicated professional committed to driving meaningful change in the public service sector, with a deep passion for helping others. My career is driven by a desire to make impactful contributions to public policy and advocacy and advocating for women\'s rights. As a BYU alum, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and have completed minors in International Development, Sociology, and Global Women\'s Studies. During my time at BYU, I published an academic article on sexual assault against women and consulted on a bill aimed at improving sentencing methods for sexual assault in Utah.I furthered my education with a Master in Public Service and Administration, where learned how to analyze policies, and I received specialized training in Women, Peace, and Security. This advanced training has equipped me with the skills needed to excel in public policy writing, analysis and consultation.Over the past four years, I have amassed significant experience in policy analysis. I have drafted amendments that were submitted to the House Rules Committee for consideration, demonstrating my capability in legislative processes. I also completed a congressional internship in the House of Representatives and led a research project working with a prominent government agency.I am currently working as a Policy Specialist at NCRC, where I utilize my advanced research and writing capabilities to advocate for progressive policies.
