ABOUT LAUREN WITOWSKI PALOPOLI
I currently work as a Lead Systems Engineer within the Landers and Spacecraft division at Astrobotic. My primary role is to provide technical leadership and direction for R&D and Business Development engineering teams, with a focus on new design optimization. My academic strengths are in the areas of structural/material analysis, operations analysis, and trajectory optimization. My passions are in the areas of structures and aerospace operations. I have extensive experience with both subjects at the graduate level. My research interests are in the area of low gravity/low oxygen thermomechanical deformation as well as operations and systems analysis for space and military applications. I look forward to using my studies to contribute to the development of the safety and stability of current and future mechanical and space systems.
