ABOUT LAUREN WITHROW
Lauren Withrow is a sports broadcaster, journalist, and content creator. She hosts \"The Drop\" on Golf Channel, the first weekly show produced from the PGA TOUR\'s new studios in Ponte Vedra Beach, giving fans an inside look at the TOUR’s biggest storylines. Lauren also appears as a host and play-by-play announcer for live broadcast coverage of the PGA TOUR and collegiate golf championships. When she’s not on the broadcast, Lauren frequently serves as a social media host for professional golf events, creating digital coverage that connects fans directly to the action. A graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and the University of Michigan, Lauren began her career as the assistant director of creative content and team reporter for Northwestern Football, where she provided insider coverage and served as the team’s sideline reporter on gamedays. She has contributed to a wide range of broadcasts across multiple sports on ESPN and BTN platforms, and other linear networks. In addition, Lauren is a feature writer for Chicago District Golf Association Magazine and an ambassador for golf nonprofits including The First Tee – Greater Chicago, the Illinois Junior Golf Association, and PlayYellow.
