In my private practice, I provide individual and family therapy as well as supportive parent education. I work with and refer to several medical doctors and dietitians in the area to provide collaborative care to those struggling with eating disorders. Additionally, I work with clients who struggle with trauma, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, addiction, self-esteem, relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions and other related issues. My approach is very individualized based on my clients current needs. I am interested in the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) and help facilitate an environment conducive to collaboration and understanding. I work in understanding each clients unique needs and provide a safe and calm space for clients process thoughts and feelings.My approach is grounded in Humanistic Theories, as I believe individuals are the experts in their own process and possess the ability to heal from within. I use CBT, ACT as well as DBT techniques when needed to help clients understand, identify and accept and/or regulate thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as ERP and CAMS as needed.
