ABOUT LAUREN VILLALTA
I\'m currently in my freshman year at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am working towards be successful in any field of public healthcare, biology, genetics, or any biomedical field. I currently work as a lab assistant in a research lab focussing in Biophysics, specifically the mitotic spindle. I\'ve worked my high school career in focussing and specializing on biomedical sciences, while simultaneously working in healthcare for almost half my high school career. I\'m currently considering a future in medical school, and I love working in patient care and research. I’d love to eventually strengthen my research experience, and I am especially interested in Oncology, Emergency Medicine, gynaecology, and peds but I am really looking to expand my experience in different specialties.
